CAE to provide training devices for Italian Air Force
Nov. 30, 2009, Orlando, Fla. – CAE has announced at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) that Alenia Aermacchi (AAEM) has awarded CAE a contract to design and manufacture a M-346 full-mission simulator and a M-346 part-task trainer as part of the M-346 ground-based training system for the Italian Air Force.

STC and TSO approval granted for CVFDR
Nov. 30, 2009 – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Universal Avionics' new Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). The STC was issued by the FAA Transport Airplane Directorate; Los Angeles Aircraft Certification Office for the CVR-120R on the Hawker Beechcraft King Air series aircraft.

Civil Aviation issues certificate for Dassault Falcon
Nov. 27, 2009 – Dassault Falcon has received Type Certification for the Falcon 7X from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India. This event confirms that the Falcon 7X meets all the rigorous safety standards outlined by the country’s national airworthiness authorities and allows registration of the Falcon 7X in India.

Embraer confirms 2 E-jet options for Niki

NBAA marks passing of aviation icon Ed Stimpson
Nov. 27, 2009 – Washington, D.C. – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has marked the loss of aviation industry legend Ed Stimpson, who passed away in his home today in Boise, ID. Although never a smoker, Stimpson was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer in June.
