Estonian Air orders three NextGen airliners
Oct. 29, 2010, Toronto - Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Estonian Air of Tallinn, Estonia has signed a firm order for three CRJ900 NextGen aircraft and has also taken options on two CRJ900 NextGen aircraft.


Canada, Switzerland ink airline deal

Airport Authority announces major investment in airport safety and efficiency
Oct. 27, 2010, Ottawa - The Ottawa International Airport Authority introduced the newest members of its team, including four additions to the airport's Emergency Response Service fleet and seven new multi-function Snow Removal Systems. The new vehicles represent an investment of$11 million in airport safety and efficiency.

CAE awarded contracts for two full-flight simulators
Oct. 27, 2010, Montreal - CAE today announced that it has sold two full-flight simulators (FFS): an A320 to Sichuan Airlines Group, a Chinese airline which operates an extensive network of domestic and international services, and another A320 to an undisclosed customer.


Aerospace industry positioned to double number of jobs
Oct. 26, 2010, Ottawa - A comprehensive report released today by Deloitte and Touche shows that the Canadian aerospace industry is well-positioned to double the number of high-paying and high-quality jobs in Canada over the next ten years. The report was commissioned by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) and released today at the Association's Annual General Meeting in Ottawa.
