Mississauga, Ont. – Ian McDougall, CEO, is pleased to announce a recent addition to the UYJ team. John Grassby has joined
the firm in the capacity of sales director. His position with UYJ is a newly created role – part of a long term
growth and development strategy the company has undertaken. Additional components and elements of this
plan will be revealed and announced in the coming months.
John is no stranger to the global corporate aviation market and the more specifically the Toronto bizav community. He brings an extensive level of expertise to UYJ. Many in the region will remember him as sales director with Learjet Canada and Bombardier Business Aircraft. He holds a “Six Sigma Master Agent (Black Belt)” rating from Bombardier Business Aircraft. In addition to his sales experience, Grassby has worked as a CRM Project Manager with Bombardier Aerospace and in the role of Security and Ehtics consultation with Spar Aerospace in Canada and L3 Communications in New York.
Educated at Concordia University and the Ivey School of Business, his post secondary degrees include BSc and MBA. Believing in giving back to the community, John is also past regional Chapter Chair of the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA).
In announcing John’s appointment, Ian stated “the addition of John to our team is a further step in UYJ’s evolution to becoming a key and preferred supplier of high quality products and services to the broader marketplace of existing corporate flight departments, new aircraft buyers and charter customers.
