CAE becomes Home Depot's provider of training solutions for Dassault Falcon aircraft
Jan. 20, 2009, Montreal - CAE has been awarded a five-year contract by Home Depot as a provider of a comprehensive range of pilot, technical and cabin crew training services for Home Depot's fleet of Dassault Falcon aircraft.

"We're delighted that Home Depot has placed their confidence in CAE and look forward to developing our relationship with them," said Jeff Roberts, CAE's Group President, Innovation and Civil Training & Services. "This contract shows CAE's unique capability to offer the industry's most integrated package of aviation training services, including pilot, technical and cabin crew training."

"CAE provides the across-the-board expertise we need to ensure that the training programs we receive are truly best-in-class," said Bill McBride, Senior Director Flight Operations for Home Depot. "CAE's ability to partner with us to develop tailored training programs that meet our unique needs and to deliver the programs when and where we need them is a definite plus."

CAE has started providing initial and recurrent training for Home Depot from CAE's training facilities in Dallas and Morristown, U.S.A. The pilot and technical training program includes ground school training using CAE's latest simulator-based classrooms, equipped with state-of-the-art CAE Simfinity(TM) Virtual Simulators (VSIMs), Virtual Maintenance Trainers (VMTs) and integrated procedures trainers (IPTs), as well as training in Dassault Falcon 900B, 900EX EASy, and 50EX full-flight simulators.

In addition, CAE will also provide Home Depot with access to several of its aircraft specific and general pilot and technical training e-learning courses, as well as partner with Home Depot to develop new online courses and to web enable and host their existing courses through CAE's learning management system (LMS).

Home Depot currently operates a fleet of Falcon 50EX, -900B, and -900EX EASy aircraft.
