Flying Colours acquires Jetcorp Technical Services
graphic_building2March 20, 2009, St Louis, MO – Flying Colours Corp., a global leader in aircraft completions and maintenance in association with the existing management of JetCorp Technical Services has acquired the assets of JetCorp from JetDirect Aviation and has no remaining ties to JetDirect. The St. Louis based JetCorp, the former MRO subsidiary of JetDirect Aviation, is now operating as a new company, JetCorp Technical Services Inc.

“With a seasoned management team led by current President Bill McLendon, an experienced workforce, and a solid customer base JetCorp Technical Services Inc. will assist us as we continue to grow our company and provide our clients with a high level of support from another location,” stated John Gillespie, President Flying Colours Corp.

JetDirect, in its efforts to consolidate a string of charter operations nationwide, purchased JetCorp, which then had charter, FBO, and MRO operations, in June of 2006. “Our new association with Flying Colours is a great fit. The two companies capabilities and strengths complement each other extremely well, directly enhancing our ability to provide high quality, comprehensive service offerings to our customers,” added Bill McLendon President of Jet Corp.

JetCorp was recently awarded an STC for the conversion of Bombardier Regional Jets from commercial to executive / VIP aircraft, and delivered its first two fully converted Renaissance Series CRJ aircraft in February, which will add to existing STC’s held by Flying Colours for their CRJ ExecLiner executive interior and auxiliary fuel system.
