Soloy Aviation Solutions today announced FAA approval of its Cessna 206 Observer Seat Kit. Designed for installation in the Cessna 206H and T206H models, this versatile and convenient swiveling seat installation is designed for use with the Soloy Observer Window for law enforcement surveillance operations.

"The new seat restraint system, adjustable padded armrests, and rotating seat base greatly enhance an observer’s ability to do the job comfortably for extended periods, something no other product for these models can deliver."
The seat utilizes the existing Cessna center row seat and features a shoulder harness adaptation with available color match webbing. The padded armrests are fully adjustable, offering the observer increased comfort, especially while operating cameras and using binoculars.
The rotating seat allows observers to face forward for take off and landing, then swivel right, left and aft while in flight by manually releasing a simple locking pin.
The Observer Seat Kit can be installed in about eight hours, and once all hardware is in place, the seat itself can be quickly and easily removed when a mission calls for the space or payload.
The Observer Seat is designed to use in conjunction with the Soloy Headliner, which increases headroom for the seat occupant, and the Soloy Observer Window, which offers exceptional extended visibility from the seat. Together, these products provide the ultimate surveillance solution for the Cessna 206.
