May 29, 2009, London, Ont. – ACT of London, Ont., Canada is pleased to announce that the Cessna Aircraft Company of Wichita, Kansas U.S., has certified ACT as an approved training facility for structural repair technologies on the new CORVALIS 350/400TT all-composite aircraft.

Cessna approved ACT as a training provider based upon ACT’s international reputation for delivering the highest Certification standards available in composites training, ACT’s responsiveness to specific customer requirements and a commitment to excellence that is unsurpassed in the training industry.

Cessna was seeking to enhance the capabilities of technicians working in their world-wide network of Authorized Service Facilities, by providing aircraft Technicians with a broader knowledge of composite materials and repair technologies.  The ACT customized “Corvalis 350/400TT Composite Repair” training course will enable Cessna Technicians to incorporate state-of-the-art techniques and procedures directly into their current operations.

ACT courses are internationally recognized as meeting and exceeding all standards for Advanced Composite Technician training.  All of ACT’s composites courses are now approved by the American Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA ) for  Inspector Authorization Renewal. This allows ACT to provide training services for the needs of all FAA regulated aircraft maintenance organizations, based upon industry created National Occupational Standards.
