 webstertrophyresize
July 27, 2009 – The Regional phase of the 2009 Webster Memorial Trophy Competition came to a close on July 15 with eight regions from across the country fielding competitors. The number of applicants increased by a good margin from 2008, but more so, the number of Flight Training Units who were represented by those competitors increased by a significant 25 percent.

The Regional Finalists for 2009 who will compete against each other at the Brampton Flight Centre during Webster Week, August 19 – 22 are as follows:

Kevin Dhaliwal – British Columbia (Coastal Pacific Aviation)
Nicholas Sneider – Alberta (Cooking Lake Aviation Academy)
John Painter – Manitoba (Harv’s Air Service)
Aaron Lehman – Northern Ontario (Confederation College)
Phiroze Contractor – Western Ontario (Brampton Flight Centre)
Cory Raby – Eastern Ontario (Algonquin College)
Mathieu Beaumier – Quebec (Cargair – St. Hubert base)
Thomas Clark – Atlantic Provinces (Moncton Flight Centre)

Congratulations to one and all and good luck in Brampton.
