LUFTHANSA BOMBARDIER AVIATION SERVICES INNAUGURATES
LBAS inaugurated a new hangar dedicated to Learjet aircraft service and maintenance at its Berlin-Schönefeld Airport facility. Berlin, Germany, May 16, 2006 -- Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) today inaugurated a new hangar dedicated to Learjet aircraft service and maintenance at its Berlin-Schönefeld Airport facility. The new addition raises the total useable maintenance area to approximately 64,584 square feet (6,000 sq. m), and increases the center's capacity and flexibility in servicing the rapidly growing number of Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global customers in the region.

The Learjet hangar boasts 21,528 square feet (2,000 sq. m) of dedicated aircraft maintenance space almost doubling the size of the original Learjet hangar and is capable of accommodating six Learjet aircraft. The expansion also includes a new customer office and reception area once construction is completed in June 2006.

Established in 1997, LBAS is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG, Bombardier Aerospace and ExecuJet Aviation Group, LBAS is exclusively dedicated to supporting Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets. In addition to its base at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, LBAS operates a line station at Frankfurt International Airport.

Celebrating the event with a traditional German beer toast, from left to right: Eckhard Breuer, Sales Director, Bombardier Business Aircraft; Andreas Kaden, General Manager, Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services; and Peter Smales, Executive Director, ExecuJet Aviation Group.
