Featuring proven hardware powered by Cobham technology, Simphone¯ Global Broadband (SGBB) provides Internet service throughout the flight regime, including on the ramp and at altitudes below 10,000 ft. AGL. The SGBB system will be installed by Goderich Aircraft, Huron Park, Ontario, on an MD-87 business jet, along with TrueNorth’s Simphone™ hardware and revolutionary new OpenCabin SmartPlane™ Communications software system.
