City Centre accepting inquiries from carriers

Nov. 9, 2009, Toronto - City Centre Terminal Corp. (CCTC) announced today that it is accepting inquiries from commercial carriers seeking check-in counter and gate space at Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA). With the new terminal construction well progressed and the first phase expected to be open in January 2010, CCTC is seeking to determine tenancy interest from other carriers. CCTC will offer competitive access upon completion of the new terminal in late summer 2010.

“All carriers operating from the new terminal at TCCA will enjoy full access to common passenger lounges and common use gates with availability in both peak and non-peak times,” said Robert Deluce, CEO of City Centre Terminal Corp. “Prospective carriers will appreciate the opportunity attached to the new terminal, located in Toronto’s city centre, both for its convenient urban location and well-appointed amenities. ”

Domestic and transborder passenger lounges will offer complimentary business centres, modern lounge-style seating, beverages, snacks and Wi-Fi.

Though affiliated with Porter Airlines, CCTC is a separate entity initiated to build, grow and maintain the operation of the terminal at TCCA. Porter will lease space from CCTC, as will any other airline operating out of the new terminal. Other tenants will include retail, food services, duty-free, and other offerings. CCTC will have a separate governance structure, with its own dedicated management and operations personnel.
