Nov. 17, 2009, Dubai – Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) has been selected by the Chilean Air Force for the complete cockpit avionics systems upgrade of its C-130 fleet. As prime contractor, CMC is responsible for delivery of its complete Cockpit 9000 suite, including the supply of turnkey installation kits as well as all in-country activities such as touch labour, training and support.

As a result, we will be able to look forward in a relatively short time to experiencing the many operational, safety, and economic benefits that this modern cockpit will bring to our C-130 aircraft.“
