Ohio – Hartzell Propeller Inc. has signed an agreement with Hawker Beechcraft
Corporation (HBC) for the exclusive supply of constant-speed propellers to all
of its new piston and turboprop commercial aircraft.

The
agreement is for a minimum of five years, and covers the full range of
new-build HBC aircraft: G36 Bonanza, G58 Baron and the King Air C90GTx, B200GT
and 350i aircraft. The agreement
also includes new, higher performance propellers for the 50th
anniversary Baron to be introduced next year.
Beginning
in 1934 the successful history between the two companies will continue as this
new agreement will see Hartzell maintain its role as HBC’s sole supplier of
propeller systems for all of their propeller-driven aircraft.
Last
year, Hartzell was awarded HBC’s Performance Promise Champion for Customer
award for its continual provision of excellent service, support, and on-time
delivery.

Disbrow, Hartzell’s senior VP marketing and customer services, said, “Our
agreement with Hawker Beechcraft solidifies a very long business partnership
that will benefit our mutual customers now and into the future.”
Hartzell Propeller Inc. is widely recognized as the
leader in advanced propeller design and manufacturing technology. The company
has recently developed the next generation of propeller designs based upon
innovative “blended airfoil” technology and is manufacturing these blades on
revolutionary machining centers to provide mission-optimized performance for
its customers. Hartzell traces its beginnings in 1917 to a business relationship
with Orville Wright, and was founded on the principal of Built on Honor - a
tradition that continues today.
