May 5, 2010 – At the Manitoba Aviation Council 2010 Conference, Rosella Bjornson awarded a scholarship to Adelinde Grobler. The scholarship is named after Rosella, who was a trail blazer for women in commercial jet service in North America.  Adelinde has a private licence and intends to use the scholarship towards her night rating. She is currently a full time student at the University of Winnipeg.  At the same time, she is taking her flight training at Winnipeg Aviation, St. Andrews Airport. She received $2,000 to apply towards flight training.

Congratulations Addy!
