to announce that DAC Aviation International, a Quebec-based aviation
services provider, has selected Pentagon 2000SQL to run its extensive
global operations.
DAC’s primary customers include the United Nations-World Food Program, the European Commission, the Red Cross, and Doctors Without Borders. Core capabilities in MRO services and flight operations support a mission to deliver humanitarian aid and materials to areas that were previously difficult or impossible to reach. DAC has been resoundingly successful in bringing comfort and hope to those who need it most.
The DAC Aviation solution provided by Pentagon 2000 Software includes a broad set of integrated functions to run inventory management, heavy maintenance, component overhaul & repair, and flight operations. DAC Aviation operates under strict requirements as an Authorized Maintenance Organization (AMO) approved by Transport Canada and they have a Technical Assistance Agreement with General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE). The existing inventory control system at DAC could not provide industrial-strength functionality to meet the complex needs of the business, so after an extensive search of commercially available aviation software, DAC determined that Pentagon’s powerful set of features and it fully integrated design made it the most functional and cost effective system to meet the critical requirements.
