Vector joins forces with Gulfstream
June 7, 2011, Summerside, P.E.I. - Vector Aerospace Corporation announces the signing of a Service Agreement between Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic, Inc. (Vector) and Gulfstream International Airlines (GIA), based in Dania Beach, Florida, United States.

GIA, a portfolio company of Victory Park Capital Advisors, LLC, is a commercial airline operating over 125 scheduled flights per day serving nine destinations in Florida, 10 destinations in the Bahamas, five destinations from Cleveland, Ohio and seven destinations from Billings, Montana.

As per the terms of the five-year agreement, Vector provides GIA with comprehensive engine repair and overhaul support for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67D series engine from its Engine Services-Atlantic facility located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Darrell Richardson, Chief Restructuring Officer of GIA, says, "Gulfstream, which acts as a continental connection carrier for Continental Airlines, takes pride in its reputation as a trusted and reliable flight services provider. Our airline operates a fleet of 23 Beechcraft 1900D aircraft with scheduled and charter services to Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. We are confident that Vector will provide exceptional repair and overhaul service for Gulfstream’s fleet of engines."

MacDougall elaborates on the scope of the agreement, explaining that it includes repair, hot section inspections, modifications, overhaul and test support for GIA’s fleet of Beechcraft 1900D aircraft, a highly reliable and versatile aircraft which utilizes the PT6A-67D series engine.

Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic is industry-recognized for providing best in class Pratt & Whitney Canada engine repair, overhaul and test services on the PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW307 and PW308A series engines from facilities located across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
