July 12, 2011, Quebec City - Discovery Air Technical Services (DATS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Discovery Air Inc., is pleased to announce it has signed a Dash 8 fleet maintenance agreement with Piedmont Airlines, a subsidiary of US Airways Group, Inc.

William Arndt, Vice-President of Maintenance for Piedmont Airlines said: "Discovery Air Technical Services provided us with the most competitive proposal for our Dash-8 aircraft. So far our independent audits show us that the quality standards of DATS and their ethics meet Piedmont's high standards."

"Piedmont Airlines is the largest North American Dash-8 operator with 44 active aircraft. We are thrilled to have earned the trust of its management team, and we will exceed their expectations," said Remy St-Martin, DATS Vice President Commercial Services. ''We continue to make important gains in the Regional aircraft MRO market and are proving once again that our strength is our experience.''

In addition to the Dash-8, Discovery Air Technical Services holds Transport Canada approvals for the ERJ 135/145, Boeing 737, CRJ 100/200 and SAAB 340 aircraft, and will soon add additional aircraft types to its catalog of capabilities. DATS' Quebec City maintenance facility provides a wide range of capabilities including welding, avionics, engineering, machining, heat treatment, composite and sheet metal repairs.
