Bombardier delivers a Global 5000 to Jana Aviation
July 27, 2012, Montreal - Bombardier today announced the delivery of a Global 5000 jet to Jana Aviation. The aircraft will be managed by Executive Aircraft Services and based in Beirut, Lebanon.

"We are delighted that Jana Aviation has continued to place their trust in Bombardier aircraft for their operations in Lebanon," said Khader Mattar, Regional Vice President, Sales, Middle East, Africa and India, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "The Global 5000 jet is perfectly suited for the very discerning needs of our customers in the Middle East. Once again, the leadership of our Global aircraft family in this region is reaffirmed."

This aircraft joins a Challenger 300 jet already in operation in Executive Aircraft Services' fleet.

"We are very proud to welcome the Global 5000 aircraft into the fleet of aircraft we manage," said Captain Nicolas Meszaros, General Manager, Executive Aircraft Services. "Bombardier's Global aircraft have a reputation for providing the highest levels of performance and comfort, and we're confident that this new jet will provide our customers with the exceptionally high standards of service that they rely on."

The super large Global 5000 jet combines superior transatlantic speed with the largest cabin in its market segment. It features high-speed Internet connectivity, unmatched entertainment options, a head-up flight display system, and one of the largest field-of-view of any business aircraft. With a range of 5,200 NM (9,630 km), the jet can connect city pairs such as Dubai-Cape Town, London-Seoul and New York-Cairo(i).
