This first Courtyard property in Winnipeg will be owned and built by Brock Hotels and Belmont Equity Partners Inc.  The six-story Courtyard will be located on the eastern side of the airport and will be within walking distance to the new terminal building.  Construction will commence in 2013 with an anticipated Spring 2014 opening.

"We are pleased to welcome another new development to the campus providing growth and opportunity in Winnipeg," said Barry Rempel, President & CEO of Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc.  "Serving our community and the travelling public with excellent airport services and facilities is what we strive for."

"We are very pleased to develop on the growing airport campus," said Paresh Raja, President of Brock Hotels and David Kemper President and Managing Partner of Belmont Equity Partners Inc.  "The growing, stable city together with the new air terminal is the perfect launch pad for Winnipeg's first Courtyard by Marriott."
