Deutsche Bank is predicting a weaker volume of commercial jet orders in 2008 and has downgraded its rating for Airbus' parent EADS to "sell'' from "hold.'' Has the market already peaked?

On the heels of Deutsche Bank's downgrade, Irish leasing company AWAS has signed a contract to buy 
75 Airbus aircraft from the single-aisle A320 family. This looks like a very promising start for the new year.
