The Fly Day event raises funds for the Ottawa Rotary Home, which provides respite care to families of children with physical disabilities. This year's Fly Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, weather permitting. The event is held at the Ottawa Flying Club, 20 Lindbergh Private (off Hunt Club just east of Riverside Drive).

At Fly Day, people can take 20-minute sightseeing flights over the city. The cost is $30 per person, and the flights are provided by Ottawa Flying Club pilots.

Fly Day is a wonderful opportunity to see the nation's capital from the air and is a popular event for families.  Fly Day is timed to view the fall foliage at its peak.

Pre-arranged flights for members of the media may be arranged under certain conditions, prior to the event.
