ACASS launches Hawker 700A private jet charter

Feb. 27, 2008, Montreal  – ACASS Canada Ltd., a corporate aviation support services company based in Montreal, recently announced the introduction of a new corporate jet charter service utilizing a Hawker 700A – an eight passenger mid-size aircraft. The company states that the new acquisition will operate mainly out of Montreal to support its current high profile clients, including some of the province’s most prominent Groups, but will also be servicing organizations in major cities across the Eastern part of North America.

Andre Khury, President and CEO of ACASS, said: “Our objective was to provide a refined, luxurious yet efficient and accessible product to our discerning clients. We invested three quarters of a million dollars to strip out the aircraft’s interior and to refurbish the entire cabin using beautiful veneered wood paneling, smooth and ultra-comfortable leather seats as well as modernized amenities. The result of this transformation retained the eight passenger capacity and significantly increased the overall comfort level, translating into a much higher level of appreciation from our clients.”

The Hawker 700A is recognized for its safety as well as its reliability. Andre Khury said: “It is perfectly suited for domestic flights in North and Central America. We are providing this solution in response to increasing market demand for high-end yet competitive private jet charter programs. The industry is very healthy at the moment because more and more organizations are aware of the advantages of private jet travel. Advantages such as increased cost effectiveness, important time savings, non standard customs and immigration procedures, complete flexibility in scheduling itineraries and the possibility to work efficiently while traveling in uncompromising safety, all contribute to make the case for business aviation over airlines.”

ACASS has enjoyed great success with the company’s revenue increasing from one year to the next and in some years doubling over the last 5 years. The number of employees also spiked from 7 to 49 over the same period of time to support the growing business activity. The company recently tore down and completely rebuilt 12,000 square feet of office space near Trudeau Airport to better serve its high profile client base while remaining close to its industry partners.
