Air Canada’s first Toronto-Tremblant flight touches down

Dec. 19, 2014, Mont-Tremblant, Que. - Passengers on Air Canada Flight AC7840 between Toronto and Tremblant were welcomed at 4:08 pm today by representatives of Mont-Tremblant International Airport, the Tremblant Resort Association and Mont-Tremblant Tourism, along with a number of regional partners.

“It is a momentous day for Tremblant,” pointed out Serge Larivière, the owner of Mont-Tremblant International Airport. “Toronto Pearson is Air Canada’s top international air traffic hub, so this new connecting flight strengthens our position as a leading ski and leisure destination on the world stage.”

Passengers travelled aboard a Bombardier Q-400 aircraft on the 65-minute direct flight between Toronto and Mont-Tremblant, with no stopovers. Four weekly flights are proposed until March 30 2015 — on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Tremblant flight arrivalsare devised to enjoy the mountain and its activities to the fullest: 11:58 am on Mondays, 4:08 pm on Thursdays and Fridays and 5:48 pm on Sundays. Tickets are available atwww.aircanada.ca. An airport shuttle links the airport to the resort.
