AJW Aviation signs new pact with Southern Air

June 11, 2014, London, U.K. -  AJW Aviation has signed a five-year agreement with Southern Air Inc. to provide power-by-the-hour support for four B737 classic aircraft. The aircraft will be utilized domestically, flying for DHL across the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean as part of a multi-year agreement.

This PBH contract is AJW’s second with the Kentucky-based airline, and runs concurrently with a 12-year agreement for four B747 and four B777 aircraft, which provides the operator with global support across its numerous locations worldwide.
 
“We are delighted to be continuing our close relationship with Southern Air Inc.," said Angela Garber, VP Sales, AJW Aviation Inc. Miami. “We have increased our activities in North America considerably over the past year or so and our component repair facility located in Montreal, AJW Technique, further enhances the integrated service we already provide for many airlines with our lease, pooling and PBH solutions.”
 
AJW supports Southern Air Inc. from both its London and Miami based facilities which offer extensive service-ready Boeing component inventories including an investment of more than US$25m in inventory to support an increasing number of operators and MRO facilities across the Americas.
