Company spokeswoman April Shand says grief counsellors have been called in to help staff and relatives of the crew and passengers.
Shand says company officials are to visit some of the injured in hospital and the company is helping relatives come to Yellowknife.
Two of the more severely injured passengers have been flown to Edmonton for treatment.
Some of those who were on the Twin Otter are employees of a mining company doing exploration work near Thor Lake.
The names of the dead have not been released and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
