Astronics Corporation garners top honour
May 11, 2011, Buffalo, N.Y. - Astronics Corporation announced yesterday that its Luminescent Systems Canada Inc. (LSI Canada) subsidiary has been selected by Rockwell Collins as the 2011 Human Machine Interface Supplier of the Year.

This is the second year in a row that LSI Canada has received this award.
The Supplier of the Year award is an acknowledgement of significant contributions made during the year by suppliers to Rockwell Collins and is based on quality, delivery, total cost of ownership, lead time and customer service. The award was presented to Astronics at the 2011 Rockwell Collins Annual Supplier Conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Peter Gundermann, President and Chief Executive Officer of Astronics, said: "We have been a supplier to Rockwell Collins for more than 10 years and are honored to receive this award for the second consecutive year. Our selection for this distinguished award is a testament to both the superior quality of our products and the exceptional customer service provided by the LSI Canada team."
