Savineau named GM of Avcorp Delta

Cedric Savineau becomes general manager for Avcorp’s facility in Delta, British Columbia, which focuses on structures and integration. With three facilities, Avcorp Group provides a range of metallic, metal bond and composite manufacturing and assembly services to the world’s leading aircraft OEMs, including BAE Systems, Boeing, Bombardier, Lockheed Martin and Subaru, as well as component repair services to support airline operators and MROs.

Savineau has more than 20 years of international experience in the transport sector, heading up major programs, product development and manufacturing organizations.

Avcorp also named Tony Kelsey as the new general manager of its Gardena, California, facility, which focuses on composite fabrication. He replaces Jim Renaud who left Avcorp at the end of August.

Kelsey is described by Avcorp as an aerospace and defense leader, with over 25 years of experience in operations leadership as a program manager, VP, group VP, and president. Prior to joining Avcorp, he lead operations in Goodrich Aerostructures, Ducommun Aerostructures, and Esterline.

With its third facility in Burlington, Ont., focusing on engineered composites, Avcorp Group has more than 700 employees and 636,000 square feet of facilities.
