Aviation Carbon 2017 to highlight CORSIA plan

Aviation Carbon 2017 is being held at the London Heathrow Marriott on Dec.4-5. This international conference will look in detail at the latest developments on the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) that was agreed by Member States of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) at their Assembly a year ago. Since then, work has continued within ICAO on developing regulations that will underpin the scheme, which is aimed at ensuring that future net CO2 emissions from international aviation are stabilised at 2020 levels from 2021 onwards.
