CBAA 2016s general plenary and streamed educational sessions have been designed by leading subject matter experts to instruct and inform.  They feature unique Canadian content aimed at increasing the skills and knowledge needed by everyone involved in private or business aviation.

General plenary sessions include Bombardier’s 10-year business aviation forecast, an update by Denis Guindon, Director General, Transport Canada and Nav Canada officials, and the release of the latest, and ground-breaking, CBAA report on the economic impact of business aviation operations and manufacturing in Canada.

Delegates will have the option of choosing from 15 streamed educational sessions that offer hands-on and practical information on a wide range of subjects created especially for  owner/operators, corporate flight departments, flight management companies, pilots and crew, schedulers and dispatchers and FBOs. Sessions include tactical information on topics such as the Fundamentals of SMS, Interference with Crew Member Awareness, Fitness for Duty and Weather Gone Wild and others.  Additional sessions feature more strategic information that can be used for longer term planning, such as How Social Media Affects your ERP and Brand, Business Aviation’s Commitment to Climate Change, and a how-to session on influencing government through your local MPs.

The CBAA itself will be a convention topic, with an open-mic session for all members to provide their feedback and direction into the future of their association.

Delegates will have ample opportunity to mix and mingle at our outstanding social events, including the always-popular Charity Golf Tournament for Hope Air and the CBAA 2016 Salutes the Stampede Fun Night.  Separate registration is required.

With an anticipated 700 delegates, including business aviation professionals, renowned subject matter experts, a great social program, well over 60 exhibitors and 15 aircraft, CBAA 2016, July 5 – 7 in Calgary is aiming to make this event one of the best in the international calendar.
