Bombardier sells six CRJ900s to China Express Airlines
July 9, 2012, Montreal - Bombardier Inc. has finalized a deal that will see it sell six aircraft to a private regional airline in China.

Bombardier Aerospace (TSX:BBD.A) says it now has a firm order for the six CRJ900 NextGen regional jets after a conditional order was first announced last October, with China Express Airlines being identified as the buyer in February.
The deal is worth US$264 million. That could rise to US$491 million if an optional order with the airline for five more of the jets is made.
China Express is China's first private regional airline, and has a current fleet of five Bombardier CRJ200 50-seat aircraft.
More than 80 Bombardier-produced aircraft, including CRJ Series and Q-Series commercial aircraft, as well as Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets, are currently operating in China.
Bombardier is the world's largest manufacturer of business jets and the third-largest maker of passenger gets overall, after Airbus and Boeing.
