Under the agreement, Fokker Services has secured inventory from Bombardier. The initial inventory block was sold to Fokker Services for worldwide distribution in November and encompasses more than 2,600 part numbers. Bombardier will also continue to market and sell Dash 8/Q-Series 100/200/300 parts to operators worldwide.

“Fokker Services is a recognized industry leader in supporting out-of-production aircraft and we are pleased to extend our successful alliance with them to create new avenues of parts availability for our operators,” said Diane De Souza, Vice President, Parts Services, Bombardier Customer Services. “Dash 8/Q-Series 100/200/300 aircraft are the backbone of airlines around the world and this ongoing collaboration further extends the useful service life of these robust and highly-valued aircraft.”

In March 2011, Bombardier and Fokker Services launched the FLY program for Dash 8 aircraft, which offers Dash 8/Q-Series 100/200/300 aircraft operators guaranteed availability of serviceable components and provides customized component repair and overhaul services on a cost-by-the-hour basis.

“Fokker Services has established a proven and competitive solution for Dash 8/Q-Series 100/200/300 aircraft and we are committed to further developing the program to enable operators of Bombardier aircraft to better manage the life-cycle cost of their aircraft,” said Jan Ynse Miedema, Vice President Bombardier programs, Fokker Services.

Bombardier's Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft program is one of the most successful regional airliner programs in history and more than 650 Dash 8/Q-Series 100/200/300 have been delivered worldwide. These aircraft are operated by more than 100 airlines around the globe. The collaboration with Fokker is one of a number of steps Bombardier is taking to enhance the
