May 20, 2009 – May 20, 2009 – Toronto, Ont. – Computershare Governance Services (CGS),
part of the Computershare group of companies has won a high-profile
contract to supply Canadianbased Bombardier with its Global Entity
Management System (GEMS).

With its headquarters based in Montreal, Bombardier is a world-leading high-tech manufacturer of planes and trains employing some 66,000 high-skilled workers on five continents.

"Bombardier is always looking at new ways to increase its efficiency. Governance management processes are no exceptions. We oversee a globally complex group of legal entities and needed a robust system to support us in that area" said Daniel Desjardins, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Bombardier. "With CGS's GEMS solution, we are investing in a well-supported, userfriendly, centralized entity management solution that will meet the long term needs of our growing global corporation."

CGS's Global Entity Management System will replace Bombardier's previous internal legal entity database: "CGS is in the implementation phase of the project, working with Bombardier to quickly make available the GEMS solution to Bombardier offices worldwide. We are very pleased that our industry leadership, in-house expertise and technologically advanced software have won us this contract," commented Andrew Moore, managing director for CGS in North America.
