“Montreal is recognized internationally for its culinary dynamism and it was important for us to offer our passengers a choice of restaurants that reflect our cosmopolitan city even more,” said James Cherry, President and Chief Executive Officer of ADM. “The current construction of our two new commercial areas provided the perfect opportunity to renew our choice of restaurants, not only in these zones but elsewhere in the terminal too.”
ADM recently launched a call for tenders with an eye to improving its food services offering and has just awarded contracts for concessions to SSP North America and HMS Host.
“Montreal-Trudeau is becoming a leading gastronomic hub,” explained Charles Gratton, Vice-President, Real Estate and Commercial Services, ADM. “These new restaurants will provide a good balance between those offering typically Montreal flavours and internationally recognized names.”
Among the new “Montreal-style” restaurants are Montreal Cuisine de rue, L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel, Hurley’s Irish Pub, QDC Burger and L’Avenue des Canadiens. They also include award-winning restaurants like Le Grand Comptoir and Urban Crave. Other brands will be added to this list by the time the new commercial areas are officially opened in 2015 and 2016.
These restaurants complement an already revitalized food services selection at Montreal-Trudeau, enabling passengers to fully enjoy their visit to the airport and begin their journey by exploring inspiring tastes and flavours.
