Bringing industry together: ConvergX highlights aerospace
Senior managers and research and technology leaders from the defence and energy sectors will gather for an international conference in February at the Westin Calgary hotel. Kimberley Van Vliet, a lady with a strong interest in defence and security issues, has organized the conference. Her goal is to enable participants to identify new market opportunities for existing and future technologies, products and services.

Van Vliet grew up in Edmonton and received her BA in neuropsychology with a minor in neurobiology at the University of Alberta. Her early professional life in the insurance industry earned her a certified financial planner designation and the opportunity to move to Calgary to lead a division for Sun Life.
With an immense amount of energy and desire for new experiences, she became a PADI Divemaster, holds a single-engine, fixed-wing pilot’s licence and is also a proficient gun handler. | READ MORE
