Fatal plane crash at Buttonville
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is deploying a team of investigators to the scene of a fatal aircraft accident at Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham, Ontario. York Regional Police last night confirmed the pilot died in the plane crash. Flames were reported following the accident.

Global News reports Markham Fire and Emergency Services crews and police were called to the southwest side of the airport, after the plane crashed just outside of the airport’s property, before 8:00 pm on Thursday night.
The identity of the pilot has not yet been released and there were no other injuries reported.
