CAE announces contracts with bizav operators

May 19, 2011, Geneva, Sui. - CAE announced Wednesday at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exposition (EBACE) that it has signed agreements with a number of leading European-based business aircraft operators for pilot training services at CAE training centres in Europe, the Middle East and North America.

The operators fly more than a dozen aircraft types, including Bombardier Challenger 601, Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Global Express, Global 5000 and Learjet 60, Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900, Falcon 900EX EASy, Falcon 2000, and Falcon 2000EX EASy, Gulfstream 550, and other models. Operators include ABS Jets, Czech Republic; Carre Aviation, Malta; Cukurova Aviation, Turkey; International Jet Management, Austria; Ocean Sky, U.K.; and VistaJet, London, U.K.

ABS Jets, Prague, Czech Republic – ABS and CAE have signed an agreement to train pilots for multiple aircraft at Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) in Dubai, UAE. The agreement represents another element of growth for ABS Jets, whose range of services include flight charter and brokerage, aircraft management, aircraft sales, and aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul and other services. ABS Jets currently has operational bases in Prague, Czech Republic, and Bratislava, Slovakia, and has announced a joint partnership with Avcon Jet for an Embraer line maintenance station at Kiev Borispol airport in the Ukraine.

Carre Aviation, Msida, Malta – CAE will train pilots for Carre's Dassault Falcon 900 and Falcon 2000 at CAE SimuFlite at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, US, and for the Bombardier Global Express at ECFT, Dubai and the CAE training centre in Burgess Hill, U.K., near London. Carre services include aircraft maintenance, selection pilots, on-board services and logistic back-up.

Cukurova Aviation, Istanbul, Turkey – Cukurova provides executive, corporate and private jet services worldwide. They will send pilots for their Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft to the CAE training centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, for recurrent training. Cukurova Bombardier Global 5000 pilots train at ECFT in Dubai.

International Jet Management (IJM), Vienna, Austria – Located near Vienna-Schwechat International Airport, IJM provides aircraft management, aircraft charter, and aircraft sales services. IJM signed an exclusive agreement with CAE to train more than 100 pilots on a variety of aircraft types. Training will be conducted at CAE training centres in the Middle East, Europe and the U.S.

Ocean Sky, London, U.K. – Ocean Sky has expanded its pilot training agreement with CAE to include the Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900EX EASy, Falcon 2000EX EASy and Bombardier Global Express in Burgess Hill, the Gulfstream 550 at ECFT in Dubai, the Bombardier Challenger 604 in Amsterdam, and the Challenger 601 at CAE SimuFlite in Dallas. Ocean Sky is equipped to meet the needs of virtually every traveler from business jets for a short shuttle to large liners for hundreds of passengers.

VistaJet, London, U.K. – VistaJet operates the largest privately owned fleet of Bombardier business jets outside the Americas. They will now train pilots exclusively in CAE and Bombardier training centres, including pilots of the Learjet 60, Challenger 605, and other Challenger and Global models in their fleet.
