The company also added new pilot training programs to its existing Dallas facility which was already the largest pilot training facility in the world. The combined total training space CAE now offers in Dallas is 486,000 sq. ft. with 40 simulators, 114 classrooms and 80 briefing rooms: the largest training campus in the world.

“This year, we are celebrating 30 years in Dallas with our flagship business aviation training centre, and we are proud to continue its success with the recent expansion of our training campus. Our new Dallas East facility meets increased customer demand and better serves their needs,” said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Simulation and Training. “We have added three popular programs, the Gulfstream 450/550 and King Air 350 and Legacy to our Dallas campus. Both centres offer customers an easy commute and an excellent experience in and out of the classroom.”

The new 60,000 sq. ft. CAE Dallas East centre was developed with CAE’s prior capital investments and can house up to eight simulators supported by 16 classrooms and 12 briefing rooms. It already offers training for the BBJ (B737NG), Lear 45 and Lear 55, Falcon 10 and Legacy aircraft. The existing Dallas West offers new training programs for Gulfstream 450/550 and King Air 350 with Collins Pro Line 21 cockpit. This is in addition to other training programs for Beechjet, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream, Hawker, Lear and Embraer aircraft.
