CAE sells four full-flight simulators

Oct. 17, 2011, Montreal - CAE announced the sale Thursday of four Level D full-flight simulators to various customers in contracts with a combined list value of more than $55 million.

The contracts were signed in CAE's second quarter ended Sept. 30 and bring the total number of announced full-flight simulator sales to 19 so far in fiscal 2012.

The latest contracts are for a Boeing 777-300ER to Cathay Pacific Airways, an Airbus A320 to the Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence, an Airbus A330 FFS to Lufthansa Flight Training GmBh and a Boeing
777-300ER to an unidentified customer.

Cathay Pacific also ordered a CAE Simfinity integrated procedures trainer, Montreal-based CAE said.

"The opportunity to expand our relationship with long-time customers is especially gratifying," said Jeff Roberts, CAE group president, civil simulation products, training and services.
