CAE signs $50 million deal with Cebu Air
Dec. 20, 2011, Montreal - CAE has signed a deal with Cebu Pacific Air to establish an aviation training centre for airlines in the Asia Pacific region.

Cebu Air is the Philippines' largest national flag carrier and Montreal-based CAE is a world leader in flight training technology.
The joint venture, worth about $50 million, is scheduled to start operations in the third quarter of 2012 northwest of Manila.
The program will initially focus on pilot training for Airbus aircraft and Cebu Air's current and new-hire pilots.
The venture is expected to provide training for other aviation personnel in the future, such as cabin crew, dispatch and ground handling personnel.
CAE employs more than 7,500 people at more than 100 sites and training locations in more than 20 countries.
