CAE wins key commercial training contracts
March 12, 2013, Montreal - CAE Inc. has announced a spate of new long-term commercial training and services contracts valued at about $245 million in total.

The Montreal-based company also known for its flight simulators said Tuesday that the deals span four continents and include a 10-year training contract for South American-based LAN and TAM Airlines and a three-year contract to supply both initial cadet and type-rating training for new Turkish Airlines pilots.
Also included are a three-year crew sourcing and services contract with GE Capital Aviation Services, a long-term service agreement with JetBlue Airways for simulator upgrades and a four-year pilot supply agreement with Ryanair.
The five-year JetBlue deal covers major upgrades and spares services on all of the airline's A320 and E190 full-flight simulators and flight training devices. In addition, CAE will upgrade all FFS visual systems to CAE's latest visual system.
CAE employs some 8,000 people at more than 100 sites and training locations in about 30 countries offering civil aviation, military and helicopter training services in additional to providing flight customers with flight simulators and services.
In addition, the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy offers training to aspiring pilot cadets in 11 CAE-operated flight schools.
