Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame, after postponing this year’s June induction event because of COVID-19, has tentatively set a new date of June 3, 2021, for its 47th Annual Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner.
The 2021 event is scheduled to take place at Sunwest Aviation in Calgary, Alberta, and will celebrate this year’s inductees, including:
• Joe Randell, president and CEO, Chorus Aviation Inc.;
• Clifford McEwen, WWI fighter ace and Air Vice-Marshal, Royal Canadian Air Force;
• Shirley Render, one of Canada’s foremost aviation historians; and
• Bjarni Tryggvason, former NRC/CSA astronaut.
The Red Knight will also be receiving the Belt of Orion Award for Excellence.
