CAMC new pre-forum workshops

Aug. 24, 2010, Ottawa, Ont. – The Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council (CAMC), in partnership with the Western Aerospace Alliance is staging its 19th annual CAMC Forum and AGM in Vancouver, British Columbia from September 29th to October 1st, 2010. CAMC’s annual Forum is one of the foremost events in the Canadian aviation and aerospace industry. Delegates hear first-hand about industry trends and best practices, expand their contact networks, and recognize the exceptional contributions of their peers.

New For 2010 – As an added and new element to the Forum and AGM, CAMC has arranged four, one-day, pre-Forum workshops that will be held on Wednesday, September 29th. These events will provide an excellent opportunity for aviation professionals to gain some valuable training. For those registered to attend the CAMC Forum and AGM, there will be a discounted fee for signing up for one of the first three workshops. Attendance at the HR and Training Solutions for Small Airports is free of charge with a Forum registration. For a nominal fee, the sessions are also available to industry professionals who are not registering for the full Forum and AGM.
 

The Sessions:

1. Aircraft de/anti-Icing

Need Recurrent Human Factors Certification? Join other industry representatives attending CAMC’s one-day Recurrent Human Factors (HPIAM) Training course. Completing the course will ensure you maintain your Human Factors certification.

CAMC’s course is informative, interactive and 100% geared to the unique needs and interests of aviation. It meets the highest standards of excellence for the aviation and aerospace industry, and exceeds Transport Canada requirements for recurrent training, by covering all key components, such as “the Dirty Dozen.”

A CAMC Certificate of Attestation will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course.
