Feb. 25, 2009 – The Canada Aviation Museum has joined with seventeen other organizations across Canada in the formation of the Canadian of Flight Project.

The Canada Aviation Museum has joined with seventeen other organizations across Canada in the formation of the Canadian of Flight Project. Through the events and programs created by its members throughout the centennial year, the Project will serve to raise Canadians’ awareness of what aviation has contributed to our country.  At the same time it will highlight the exciting career opportunities that aviation and space have to offer now and in the future.

Canadian Aviation Museum Centennial Events and Programs:
•    New Exhibition Canadian Wings: A Remarkable Century of Flight –
Public Opening Wed. Feb. 25, 2009.
•    March Break – Quebec: Feb. 28 to March 8, 2009
•    March Break – Ontario: March 14-22, 2009.
•    Host Venue of the 29th Annual Genie Awards: Sat. April 4, 2009.
•    Mutual Concerns of Air and Space Museums Conference – April 18-21, 2009.
•    Artflight – Thurs. May 14, 2009.
•    Canada Day – Wed. July 1, 2009.
•    Classic Air Rally – Aug. 29-30, 2009.
•    Battle of Britain – Sun. Sept. 20, 2009.
