Cargojet Announces Appointment of Anju Virmani to Advisory Council

Dec 17, 2007, Toronto, Ont.- Cargojet Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: CJT.UN)
is pleased to confirm the appointment of Ms. Anju Virmani, Chief Information
Officer of Cargojet, to the Advisory Council on National Security (ACNS). The
Council provides confidential advise to the Government on issues related to
national security.
    
Ms. Virmani was appointed by the Right Honourable Prime Minister Stephen
Harper. "I am pleased that these individuals of such high calibre have
accepted this important responsibility. Their combined experience in national
security, law, defence, emergency management and other related areas provide
the expertise we need to address security challenges," said the Prime
Minister.
    
"Cargojet is committed in ensuring that security and safety are at the
forefront of our business. The Cargojet team is very pleased with Anju's
appointment and wish her the very best in this role," said Ajay Virmani,
President and CEO of the Fund.
    
The membership of the Council includes a diverse group of individuals,
expertise and experience relevant to national security issues.
    
"I am honoured to be joining such a distinguished group of people, having
an opportunity to represent the industry as well as the people of Canada. I
look forward to contributing fully to mandate of the ACNS," said Anju Virmani.

night, utilizing a fleet of twenty all cargo aircraft.
