CBAA’s annual convention and exhibit is a three day event that features high quality plenary and educational sessions, over 50 vendors specializing in the Canadian business aviation market and Canada’s largest static display of corporate and private aircraft. Social and networking events include the popular Hope Air Charity Golf Tournament and the annual “City Fun Night”.

With four months still to go, CBAA 2016 is already breaking records. “As of this writing, we have 14 aircraft and 50 vendors confirmed, with more signing on every day” said Rudy Toering, CBAA’s president and CEO, “I have no doubt that we will crack last year’s record of 21 aircraft and 65 exhibits, and maybe even set a new all-time high in our 55 year history.”

OEM displaying aircraft include the industry’s biggest and most important players, including Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Falcon Jet Corp. Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream, HondaJet, Quest Aircraft Company and Textron Aviation, offering a diverse field of aircraft for every type of demand.

“Many of our members do a lot of business at Stampede. We hope that they will take advantage of the timing to take their VIP clients on a tour and show them how business aviation – and business aviation aircraft – will give them a critical corporate advantage” said Toering.

Business aviation is a $5.5 billion sector, employing 23,500 people across Canada. “We are delighted to be back in Calgary” said Toering. “The province is home to hundreds of business aviation operations and their employees. We look forward to welcoming them to our event, and together sending a strong signal to the government about the value and importance of business aviation to our economy and the future of Canada.”

“We are indebted to our many sponsors, including Diamond Sponsor and our exhibit and static venue, Million Air, for their support, which allows us to keep our quality high and registration rates affordable.”
