CIT signs lease with CanJet

April 1, 2008 – CIT Group Inc. has announced that CIT Aerospace , a unit of CIT, has signed a lease with Canjet Airlines for a Boeing 737-800.

The aircraft, MSN 29921, is powered by CFM56-7B24 engines. The aircraft was delivered on March 27. This aircraft is one of fifteen aircraft that CIT has committed to purchase from Ryanair.

CIT owns or finances a fleet of more than 300 commercial aircraft.
