CMC presents the 2010 PilotView Award

Oct. 19, 2010 – Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) has presented ABC Completions of Montreal, Canada, with the 2010 Dealer of the Year Award in recognition of outstanding sales achievements of CMC’s PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).

Greg Yeldon, president, Esterline CMC Electronics, and Jean-Michel Comtois, CMC vice president, marketing and sales, government and public affairs, presented the award to Gary Nash, president of ABC Completions during CMC’s NBAA 2010 press conference.

CMC’s PilotView EFB product line features avionics grade hardware, is DO160D qualified and meets all of the FAA and EASA Class 2 EFB regulatory requirements for paperless cockpit operation. The pilot friendly EFB improves productivity and reduces workload.

Flight preparation is made easy with efficient access to up-to-date aircraft documentation, checklists and flight planning information. During flight, the PilotView further reduces pilot workload with electronic charts and manuals, and enhances safety with real-time weather information.

On the ground, electronic logs capture essential information and fleet management is performed in practically real-time with the electronic transfer of data that was previously circulated on paper. The PilotView EFB features multiple communication interfaces to facilitate several modes of data entry and application updates.
