Vector Aerospace Corporation is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the transition to a new global corporate brand with Atlantic Turbines taking the name of its parent to become Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic.

As a fully authorized Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility (DDOF), Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic provides worldwide support to the JT15D, PT6A and PW100 engine platforms. In July 2008, the Company further expanded its partnership with P&WC when it was named the Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the PW 307A and the PW 308A/C series engines. In addition, to the introduction of these new engine platforms, the Company has also expanded its PW100 and PT6A DOF Agreements which now cover the full range of models. As part of its European expansion strategy, Vector is setting up its PW 307A and the PW 308A/C engine shop at their Fleetlands facility in Southern England.

Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic's President, Brian Thompson, said: "Our customers have helped to create the Atlantic brand-one which we believe stands for industry-leading customer service and top quality. These two key attributes are what we will carry forward under the new Vector Aerospace brand. Through this brand transition, we will be driven by the belief that our brand is really defined by our customers. And building a brand is done one customer and one transaction at a time."

This announcement completes the final phase of a Vector-wide initiative involving all maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) assets. Sigma Aerospace, which provides engine repair and overhaul for the RAF C130 K Hercules transport and VC10 tanker fleets, as well as the military transport fleets of overseas customers; was renamed Vector Aerospace Engine Services – UK in July 2008. Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services -North America (formerly ACROHELIPRO Global Services), the largest independent rotary wing MRO supplier in North America, changed its name in March 2008. The recently acquired Defence Aviation Repair Agency (DARA) assets in the United Kingdom are being operated as Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services -Fleetlands and Vector Aerospace Component Services – Almondbank.

Vector is committed to being the benchmark against which maintenance, repair and overhaul businesses are measured. The fundamentals of Vector's philosophy are to build and deepen relationships with customers and OEMs by providing superior service through rigorous implementation of processes innovation. This rebranding brings together these successful and established suppliers of MRO services under the one Vector banner, an important step towards becoming a world leading aviation support services company.
