DATS to modify Beechcraft G58 ISR demonstrator

March 10, 2014, Toronto – Discovery Air Technical Services has
announced that it is supporting Beechcraft Corp. of Wichita, Kansas to
develop a G58 ISR (Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance)
Demonstrator Platform.

DATS, as the prime aircraft integrator, is working with the Special Mission team at Beechcraft to develop an ISR Demonstrator that will be flown and demonstrated both domestically and internationally. DATS is undertaking the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, ground testing, flight testing, and Transport Canada & FAA certification, in support of the special mission aircraft demonstrator.

The G58 ISR Demonstrator incorporates a complete mission suite that includes an EO/IR Sensor, Mission Communication Suite, Data Management with Moving Map, SATCOM, DATALINK, GPS, Mission Operator Console with Multiple Displays and Cockpit Display.
