Doug Tiedeman is 21 years old, but has cerebral palsy and functions at the mental age of a 12-year-old.

Two weeks ago, he met a woman in London, Ont., on Facebook and decided to hop a plane in Calgary to meet her.

The family spent a frantic 24 hours trying to track Tiedeman down and eventually found him in London with the help of police.

Ironically, Tiedeman had trouble getting a ticket home because he didn't have the proper ID.
